The purpose with which this wine has been made is to be able to express in a bottle the essence of the area of La Sierra de Algairén, of a native grape, of the Vidadillo variety.

An ancestral variety, with a presence since the 12th century, whose origin is in Cariñena. Some of the few vineyards of this variety are found in Almonacid de la Sierra, the town where Bodem Bodegas is located.

The Vidadillo grape is the maximum expression of the terroir and microclimate of the area, which make this wine a balanced rosé, due to the role played by acidity and tannins.

The cycle of the Vidadillo variety is long. Its clusters contain a large number of large grains. The name of this grape variety has been changing throughout its history, from vidadico to its final name, Vidadillo.

Las Margas Vidadillo is the result of the work of a great team of people who have opted for a native grape. Bodem Bodegas has invested in R+D+I and in the study of the best plots of this grape variety in order to produce and give wine lovers the opportunity to enjoy a unique wine, a 100% Vidadillo rosé.
