Bodem is a modern winery in which innovation prevails, capable of responding to the dynamic demands of the international wine market, without losing sight of the Spanish winemaking tradition. The name of the winery, which means “land” in Dutch, pays homage to the land of this region; we strive to produce high-quality, elegant wine that everyone can enjoy.
Region and climate
Bodem belongs to the D.O.P. Cariñena, the largest and oldest D.O. of Aragon.
The vineyards are at an altitude of between 400 and 800 meters, and the winery is located in the heart of the Sierra de Algairén, the cradle of Garnacha.
The climate is dry and continental, with cold winters and hot summers, with very different day and night temperatures. Together with the effect of the strong and dry wind “El Cierzo”, this contributes to aridity, protecting the vines from diseases.
Composition
Tempranillo, Garnacha, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon
